About us
MAURI TRANSPORT d.o.o. is a modern family-owned transport and logistics company based in Slovenia. Our main activity is road freight transport, with a strong focus on routes between Slovenia, Italy, Austria and Croatia. We also regularly carry out deliveries to other EU member states and throughout the Balkan region.
In addition to transport services, we offer:
- Warehousing at our facility in Lesno Brdo (Vrhnika),
- ADR transport with vehicles fully equipped in accordance with regulations,
- Express transport with light tarpaulin-covered trucks (ramp loading possible),
- Comprehensive logistics support for small businesses,
- Consulting and optional Cargo insurance for transported goods,
- Support with import-export procedures and customs documentation.

The story of MAURI TRANSPORT began in the 1980s, when its founder, Mario Mauri, started his professional career as a seaman with Splošna plovba and later sailed for a foreign shipping company. After returning to land, he continued his career as an international truck driver, gaining invaluable first-hand experience from both a driver’s perspective and a deep understanding of the demands of international logistics. His passion for travel, movement, and transport has accompanied him throughout his entire professional life.
In 2009, he decided to pursue an independent entrepreneurial path and established MARIO MAURI s.p., through which he successfully operated a hospitality business. However, his heart always remained on the road, and in 2014 he purchased his first light commercial vehicle with a tarpaulin – a Ford Transit – and began independently transporting goods.
As demand quickly exceeded what he could manage alone, he soon expanded the fleet with three additional vehicles and started organizing transports first across Slovenia and later throughout international markets.
In 2016, his daughter Tina Mauri joined the company and today serves as Managing Director. Together, they laid the foundations of a professional transport organization and prepared the company for its next stage of growth.
In 2018, MAURI TRANSPORT d.o.o. was established. The company is owned by Mario Mauri, who successfully passed his extensive experience on to the next generation. Today, the company is led by Tina Mauri as Managing Director and Peter Mauri as Operations Manager and Procurator.
Together with their team, they continue to build a modern transport company based on reliability, flexibility, and long-term partnerships with customers throughout Europe.

We operate in a paperless environment, with clearly defined internal policies, and we adhere to modern standards of transparency, safety and regulatory compliance. We continuously upgrade our services in collaboration with strategic partners – both in IT and vehicle development.
